Presentation
In today's session, you will start to prepare for a presentation. The presentation will be about introducing a new student to Dewsbury College. You are required to produce a variety of texts about the college. The deadline for completing this presentation is Thursday 24 April.
In order to complete this assignment, you will need to form 4 groups. The groups are based on the different types of text:
1. Description group - Your task is to write a text that describes Dewsbury College and sudent life.
2. Information group - Your task is to write a text that informs or advises students about something you think students at Dewsbury College need to know.
3. Persuasive group - Your task is to write a text that encourages potential students to enrol on a college course.
4. Instructional group - Your task is to write a text that tells new students how to do a particular task or tasks at Dewsbury College.
You will also need to do some research on different types of texts used at the college and student opinions. Your texts should be word processed and include illustrations. The final texts will be used at an ESOL screening event which will be held on Friday 25 April.
GOOD LUCK

hi Jawan and Shahbaz
Because you have passed the E3 reading you can practice the L1 paper. It is much harder than the E3 and will mean working hard to be able to pass this next year.
